What are Intensive Driving Lessons?
We help students with intensive driving lessons all over London, not just West London.
In summary, these intensive lessons are intensive due to how back-to-back the lessons can be and the significant amount of progress that can be made in a short time. It’s ideal for a student wanting to take intensive lessons to be able to take a lesson daily or every other day for maximum effect. Otherwise, regular driving lessons may be more suitable.
Intensive driving lessons don’t have a single purpose, some students may just require a driving license for a new job, some may be excited for the holidays, others out of necessity. Regardless of the reason, intensive lessons are to give students a true feel of what it’s like to be behind the wheel daily. This nurtures confidence and fast. Not to mention, efficiency; ensuring that all learnings are maintained from the previous lesson.
The expectation from lesson to lesson will be that the student progresses. Over the years, we’ve carefully planned a proven structure to help students taking intensive lessons to reach their ideal goal based on the package they choose.
During the lessons, students become extremely familiar with the highway code without even realising. This works in most favour of those who haven’t yet done their theory test. For those that have, the bonus is that they can focus entirely on the end goal – passing their driving test.
How long are Intensive Driving Lessons?
The actual lessons are an hour long, just like regular driving lessons. In terms of quantity, there are no obligations to how many hours – the least hours we offer are 5 hours (this would be for experienced students who may be facing a retake in the near future).
We have a variety of packages to choose from, each catering to different experiences of learners. While we don’t have a recommendation on how many intensive hours are required, we’re happy to help you identify how many hours you may need.
The average number of hours observed to be able to pass a driving test is approximately 40 hours. This number is deduced from learners taking 1 or 2 regular driving lessons a week. However, this can be quite inefficient at times, requiring “revision” of the previous lesson.
We have helped numerous students who committed to 28+ hours over 28+ consecutive days or every other day. The chances of passing a driving test are higher with intensive driving lessons, more so when the driving test is immediately after.
