What are Intensive Driving Lessons?
Intensive Driving Lessons aren’t restricted to South London only, in fact, you’ll find that we help students all over London.
For a short answer, these intensive lessons are conducted much more frequently than regular lessons. All while the expectation and the structure of each lesson are more advanced, deeming it “intense”.
Intensive driving lessons don’t have a single purpose, some students may just require a driving license for a job, others for retaking a test. Regardless of the reason, intensive lessons have the capability to take a student from not being able to drive to become fully competent. More than enough to pass their driving test. The lesson structure is more advanced, making them slightly different from regular lessons. Not to mention that intensive lessons are taken more frequently – this improves the pass rate dramatically.
The expectation from lesson to lesson will be nothing short of positive progression. We’ve meticulously planned a proven structure to help learners taking intensive lessons to reach their ideal goal based on the package they choose.
During intensive driving lessons, learners become extremely familiar with the highway code and they don’t even realise. This works in most favour of learners who may have not yet conducted their theory test. However, we advise taking the theory test before driving lessons as allows them to have complete focus.
How long are Intensive Driving Lessons?
Intensive lessons are an hour long, just as regular driving lessons are. The quantity of how many lessons students take is entirely up to them; dependent on their requirements.
We have a variety of packages to choose from, each catering to different experiences of learners. While we don’t have a recommendation on how many intensive hours are required, we’re happy to help you identify how many hours you may need.
The average number of hours observed by many driving schools in the UK to increase the chances of passing a driving test is approximately 40 hours. This number is deduced from learners taking 1 or 2 regular driving lessons a week. Leaving days in between lessons can at times be inefficient, requiring “revision” of the previous lesson. We have seen successful students with Intensive driving lessons, committing to 28+ hours over 28+ days or every other day. The chances of passing a driving test are higher with intensive driving lessons, more so when the driving test is immediately after.
