What are Intensive Driving Lessons?
Firstly, our Intensive Driving Lessons are available in others parts of London too. Be it East, South or West London.
In a nutshell, these driving lessons are delivered at a frequency different from regular driving lessons. Matched by the expectations of an instructor, as an intensive is faster paced to help learners meet their goal.
The purpose of intensive driving lessons is to help a learner go from not knowing how to drive to become fully competent in driving as quickly as possible. This means learners need to be able to commit to several lessons in a single week or better yet, daily. Taking driving lessons this frequently allows learners to gain confidence quickly and get comfortable on the road faster. Not only that but reduces the chances of forgetting learnings from the previous lesson.
The expectation from lesson to lesson will be nothing short of positive progression. We’ve meticulously planned a proven structure to help learners taking intensive lessons to reach their ideal goal based on the package they choose. Whether you have a test approaching quickly or you are time-restricted, intensive lessons are ideal for efficiency and speed.
During intensive driving lessons, learners become extremely familiar with the highway code and they don’t even realise. This works in most favour of learners who may have not yet conducted their theory test. However, we advise taking the theory test before driving lessons as allows them to have complete focus.
How long are Intensive Driving Lessons?
The length of intensive driving lessons is entirely dependent on the package chosen. Each package aims to cater to different requirements. E.g. Fewer hours for someone who has experience but wants to supplement their driving.
We don’t have a recommendation on how many intensive hours are required. Neither does the government have a minimum requirement. However, one observation that can be made is that the average is approximately 40 hours of driving.
The 40 hours is derived from learners taking 1 or 2 regular driving lessons a week. Therefore, being prone to forgetting previous lessons and not being as efficient. We have seen successful students with Intensive driving lessons, committing to 28+ hours consecutively. The chances of passing a driving test is higher with intensive driving lessons, more so when the driving test is immediately following.
